–Dance Workout, Technique & Choreography 
 
Get in the groove, sweat and swing to a variety of Afro-Brazilian and samba rhythms, while improving your dance technique and performance skills. Learn basic technique, samba footwork, hip movements, arm styling & fun choreography that will boost your confidence on the dance floor!
 
Be ready for an energizing and thrilling experience!  You’ll have so much fun, you’ll forget you’re getting a great workout! The class includes stretching and floor mat exercises.

PERCUSSION

SAMBA JAM - Brazilian Percussion Class with Fernando de Sanjines 13
Wednesdays, 7:15-8:55 PM - Mixed Levels
The class will focus on the samba feel and groove. Repique, caixa, surdo, ago-go, tamborim, shaker, pandeiro and congas. You will learn basic drumming techniques and the foundation of Brazilian rhythms and then develope on your own. Everyone welcome!

Fernando has been leading Samba do Coração bateria since 1992. He has performed extensively and has trained many drummers over the years. See www.fernandodesanjines.com
