Samba Booty Camp: Sweat & swing to a variety of samba and Afro-Brazilian rhythms while improving your health, fitness and dance style. You’ll have so much fun you’ll forget your getting a great workout!

Brazilian Samba: Experience the thrill of samba! Learn basic technique, foot and hip movement, arm styling and fun choreography that will boost your confidence on the dance floor!!!

Seasoned instructor, Mary Dollar, with over 20 years of teaching & performance experience will break it all down for you in an “easy to follow” format for all levels to enjoy!

(Wear comfortable clothing & soft soled shoes & bring a floor mat and a towel.)

PERCUSSION

SAMBA JAM - Brazilian Percussion Class with Fernando de Sanjines 13
Wednesdays, 7:15-8:55 PM - Mixed Levels
The class will focus on the samba feel and groove. Repique, caixa, surdo, ago-go, tamborim, shaker, pandeiro and congas. You will learn basic drumming techniques and the foundation of Brazilian rhythms and then develope on your own. Everyone welcome!

Fernando has been leading Samba do Coração bateria since 1992. He has performed extensively and has trained many drummers over the years. See www.fernandodesanjines.com
